the Photos app on the iPhone is replacing iPhoto and will be developed further by Apple as time goes on. So tell Apple what iPhoto features you want in Photos via http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphoto.html

Oct 31, 2014 5:46 AM in response to Cloudlandsby léonie,On your iPad you could try Pixelmator instead. It has been built for iOS 8, has many advanced editing features, and can access iCloud Drive and iCloud Photo Library Beta.
