Q: Missing bootcamp win7 after updating the mac to OS X Yosemite

Help!

After upgrading to Yosemite,  and now when I ALT Boot Windows 7 and Recovery partitions no longer show up. Is there any ways to get my data in the disk back?

The Disk Utility is like this:

On your machine Recovery HD and everything after it was deleted including Apple_Boot to get Windows to work, as shown by your diskutil list output. The only method to get it back correctly is to re-install Yosemite.

Can you post the output of diskutil cs list?

On a working system, this is what I have...

    diskutil list

    /dev/disk0

       #:                       TYPE NAME                    SIZE       IDENTIFIER

       0:      GUID_partition_scheme                        *256.1 GB   disk0

Ok, do you mean if I re-install  the Mac OSX, I  can also enter my windows system?  If the apple_boot can be fixed up, does it mean I can get back the mac system?

I wish the last choice is re-install the system Mac or startup repair the windows. If re_install is the only choice, should I take the startup repair of windows or re-install the mac system first?

another question is can we just re-built the apple_boot file?

Please reinstall Yosemite first. Windows can be fixed when the internal disk can be accessed. Make sure you pick the correct partition to re-install OSX. Do not erase the internal disk at any cost, otherwise Windows will be lost.

so, what I should do now is reboot the computer without USB drive, and hold the option+command+R when start showing :

    it shows four options:

1, back up from time Machine to repair

    2. re-install OS X

    3. require online help

    4. disk utility

and I choose the re-install OSX, right?

also I want to make sure is the patition I can re-install MAC system is the used-being MAC system (D:  disk) in the past?

This is installing Mountain Lion, not Yosemite. This means you have to install ML and then upgrade to Yosemite. Do you want me to give you commands to erase just the Macintosh HD?

You should not plug-in the USB when using Command+Opt+R.

I do not see any other choice. You have a CoreStorage volume that is not working.

Can you post a text version of diskutil cs list?
