It sounds like you have deleted and re added the Starbucks and Tim Horton cards to Passbook, but they dont seem to udpate at all. I would use the other troubleshooting steps from the following article to help resolve the issue here, named:
Pass not updating
If a pass isn't updating as expected, try the following:
- Ensure that you have an active Internet connection.
- Tap the info icon on the pass and check the last time it was updated.
- If it hasn't updated recently or if it doesn't appear to be correct, you can "pull to refresh" to update the pass.
- Turn on Automatic Updates.
- If it still doesn't update as expected, try quitting Passbook and opening it again. If the pass is still incorrect, check with the company or vendor that provided the pass.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
All the very best,
Sterling

Oct 26, 2014 11:02 AM in response to mikaolongersby BertingAP,Unfortunately, I deleted the cards and app, then reinstalled them. Starbucks is fine, but the Tim Horton card won't re-install in passbook. I have e-mailed them many times and they never answered. Poor PR!
