Nov 1, 2014 8:28 AM in response to mogolden2007by Matt Clifton,You would log into your wifi router and set a password. If that's an Airport, use Airport Utilityin your Utilities folder. If it's a different router, you usually log into it through a browser (eg http://192.168.1.1 or whatever address your router has).

Go to System Preferences then click on network>Advanced>TCP/IP Then Copy your router address
After that paste it into your browser.
If it asks for a username and password check your router its written on it.
