Help!

After upgrading to Yosemite,  and now when I ALT Boot Windows 7 and Recovery partitions no longer show up. Is there any ways to get my data in the disk back?

The Disk Utility is like this:

The following commands will erase your CoreStorage OS X installation.

    1. Delete the Macintosh HD volume - diskutil cs deleteVolume 1DD574BE-C033-4FCE-9AED-60A26EB58BB4

    2. Delete the Macintosh HD volume group - diskutil cs delete F4627B26-9663-428D-B24D-79F2674CFC4F

    3. After these two steps post the output of diskutil list and the OS X volumes can be re-built. Then you can reinstall Mountain Lion, recover Windows and make a backup of Windows. I would suggest not using Yosemite at this point.

    4. Once you have Windows recovered and backed-up,the whole disk can be erased and a clean install of Yosemite and Windows to provide a stable machine.

Just want to make sure before I delete the Macintosh HD volume and re-install ML: Will the Windows partition also be deleted? Seems that the Windows partition is also on Macintosh HD. This is really the most important step for me, because all I need is my data on the Windows partition.

Post the output tor diskutil list which can explain that the Windows partition is separate from OS X. Or look at Page 9, and you can see the Bootcamp partition is on the same disk, but not on Macintosh HD.

    Hello Loner T.

I read almost all of your posts to find a solution for my problem but I don't manage to bring it to a good end. I opened a new discussion:

Windows bootcamp partition gone after upgrade Yosemite

Can you please have a look at it? It would be very kind of you..

    Thanks!

if erasing MAC HD partition and re-installing mountain lion system is the last selection, It seems I have to take a risk to try. I don't know whether windows can be recovered together in this way. If yes, whether the files in  windows are still  there.

You can use PhotoRec to extract all your files from the Windows partition, if you like. It will take a couple of days to finish extraction.

    Please see http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/PhotoRec.

Sorry to reply you late, Loner. During the past several days, I went to Seattle to repair my laptop. In the end, I got the data back and re-install the mac system. Unfortunately, some files show  messy code, possibly damaged. Anyway, Thanks for the long-time consistence and warm-hearted help. Wish you all the best
