Oct 20, 2014 10:24 PM in response to EduardoLby CacoPortela,Hi
Eduardo
I have the same issue with my modem and Vivo carrier.
The quick solution that I had was to purchase a 4G router TP-Link 3G/4G TL-MR3040 while DLink try to solve this problem.
Good luck! Regards!

Oct 31, 2014 7:47 AM in response to EduardoLby CacoPortela,I've talked with D-Link USA/BRL and Vivo and both companies has not any kind of fix of this issue. We need to wait to next Yosemite update from Apple or, in my case, I downgraded my OS to Mavericks because I'm a hard user of 4G and I spent all time working out of office. Sorry for badnews, guys!

Oct 31, 2014 9:54 AM in response to EduardoLby EduardoL,Apparently there is no fix at this time to the problem.
I've changed my modem to HUAWEI E392 MODEM LTE and it works on YOSEMITE (OS X 10.10).
After a hard research about this problem, I didn't got any solution.

They don't provide the necessary support to the products they are selling and still sugest that we install on a mac a .exe file...

Nov 7, 2014 1:21 AM in response to EduardoLby yamraaj,I have a ZTE 820 4G dongle. This wasn't working in yosemite till I installed the driver update package at http://www.zte.co.nz/main/MAC_Drivers.htm. After this, I had to run the following command in a terminal to get it working: 'sudo kextload /System/Library/Extensions/ZTEUSBCDCACMData.kext' . Post this, I could use the installed connection manager.
Essentially, ZTE has 64 bit drivers that were released for 64 bit OS X. If you can find similar drivers for your device, that might help.
Had to break my head on this for several hours - hope this helps other folks.
