Q: Find my friends app no longer works

i am having problen with find my friend app.

i Am currently running ios 8 on my iphone 5 while my friend is running ios 8 on iphone 6.

however, on my find my friend app, it displays location not found for this friend.  I am certain she has accepted my invitation And has shared her location.  Are there any known compatible issues and is there any fix for this? 

I would just check, as the share location settings are in more than one place. Have the other person check their settings for you to be able to see them.

BUt i was told others are able to see the location without issues.  Would there be a compantibility issue between iphone 5 and iphone 6?
