Oct 30, 2014 9:32 AM in response to dctalbertby moor1105,Well yeah, that is the way it SHOULD work.. However it still is not working.. I was able to get two pics embedded into movies. After that, it will not work.
The artwork will not show up.

Oct 31, 2014 5:42 AM in response to moor1105by moor1105,Update: It only worked on one file.. Still a issue.. sigh.. I have so much music and all have artwork. I guess I'll just not import anything new until this is fixed.
Between that and the wifi issue, this is the worst update for me personally yet.

Nov 1, 2014 9:58 PM in response to sPiDeRmOnKeY7by highcool,I found the solution to be the following:
1) Select the TV show or item that you want to add artwork to, then hold down the Option key, then from the menu bar, select File > Get Info.
OR
2) Right-click on the item, then hold down the Option key, then select Get Info. The sequence is important.
The old version of the dialog box will appear vs. the new iTunes 12 version. Try it with and without holding down the option key to see the difference. Adding the artwork in the old dialog box 'sticks,' whereas the new one doesn't yet.

Nov 1, 2014 10:18 PM in response to sPiDeRmOnKeY7by Jollypumper,Just found out that I'm experiencing the same issue. I commented about it on my previous thread but suspect that my comment my be deleted (again....) by the censorship board at Apple so Im adding my voice of total frustration and disappointment here as well.
Really really annoyed about upgrading to iTunes 12. I wish i had read these threads first.
Next time Apple releases anything, I'll first read up on the feedback as I dont trust anything coming out of Apple anymore. Nuff said

Nov 2, 2014 1:07 AM in response to highcoolby SporeanGranTurismo,Well done highcool! Thanks. Your workaround is the most effective! This reminds of younger days playing the "Street Fighter" arcade game, where inexplicable combinations of the controls would reveal new moves and weapons, except in this case all it is creating is frustration!

Nov 2, 2014 5:09 AM in response to highcoolby Axel Foley,Thanks that solution worked for me as well. I used the Right Click and then Option while pressing Get Info key. You are right, it brings up the old dialogue box (Which I like to begin with) and then it was business as usual from there. THANK YOU.

Nov 2, 2014 5:25 PM in response to highcoolby jcn153,I was able to open the old dialog box but the artwork still would not stick. Thanks for the post I hope Apple gets this fixed soon.

Nov 3, 2014 12:00 PM in response to sPiDeRmOnKeY7by d024912,Hello
I have exactly the same problem. I go through the process of uploading the artwork and it will not save. What a basic bug!
Why can't it work like the old version.
<sigh>
The workarounds don't seem to work for me. Ill just have to wait until Apple get it fixed.

Nov 8, 2014 6:54 AM in response to sPiDeRmOnKeY7by Don Watson,I can't get it working either and I don't follow that workaround. But I did find where to download the previous version of iTunes, which I suspect will solve the problem. Apple - Support - Downloads This isn't the first time Apple's released a version of iTunes with a major glitch in it

Nov 8, 2014 7:34 AM in response to sPiDeRmOnKeY7by Don Watson,I found another workaround. If you highlight the file(s) in iTunes and replace the artwork, as others have posted it appears to work but the display doesn't change. Delete the file(s) in iTunes but instead of taking the option to move to Trash take the one to Keep the Files. Then go to your iTunes Music library, identify the files and drag and drop into iTunes. It now displays correctly, or at least it did for me.
Seriously underwhelmed at Apple putting us through all this trouble.
