I getting ads also on my PC windows 7 64-bit service pack 1, iTunes 12.0.1. It has just started happening on this version. I guess I will wait for the next version or get a refund for iTunes Match.

Same problem here. Upgraded from iTunes 11 to iTunes 12.0.1.26 on a  machine running Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit. Never heard ads until I installed the upgrade. Very annoying.

I have the same problem on my Windows PC at work running the latest iTunes. I don't have the issue on my iPhone 6 or my AppleTV. But on the Windows PC I get ads. Which is frustrating because I listen to a lot of iTunes Radio at work. This only started about two weeks ago, I assume with the latest iTunes update.

I have this problem too, I wonder if anyone on iTunes 12 on Windows does NOT have this problem?

Me too, AND I'm not able to play some songs from my own library, even though they were purchased thru iTunes. It skips the first 5 songs of the album and then plays the 6th. The same songs stream just fine on my iPhone.

    Pretty flakey, Apple.

Has there been any update since you've been actively working this with support?

On my MacBook I haven't encountered ads and still listen on that in the office; however, I tend to listen more on my PC at home. On the PC front it seems the frequency of ads increases the more you listen. Initially, I was experiencing the random ad every hour or so but its increased to every 2-3 songs seemingly. It'd be one thing if it was just audio ads but its popping up with video ones, which are even more frustrating.

At this point its been nearly a month since this issue was first escalated and the number of people this is affecting (at least based on the forums) suggests the problem is not just limited to a few individuals.

    Same issue,

    Windows 8.1 x64, iTunes 12.0.1.26.

Logged in and out of iTunes Match, updated iTunes Match, no other users have been logged into this machine or iTunes. Worked great before iTunes 12, doesn't seem I get ads when using iTunes Match on my iPhone.

    Please fix this already Apple.

Does anyone know whether Apple is looking into this?  It kind of bothers me I am paying for a service that I am not receiving.

Yes, Supposedly Apple is looking into this. I have not received a follow up since 11-8-14 and I am starting to think this issue is not a priority. The "Engineers" stated they were unable to replicate the issue using my account on a test machine yet here you all are complaining about the same issue... The more people that call/post the more likely it is to light a fire (sad but true). Roll Steve Roll

I just went and signed up for the free trial of the XBOX Music service, amazing Apple can't figure out such a simple thing as this and get it fixed.

I just found this possible solution Getting ads on iTunes Radio even with iTunes Match

Basically it is disassociating the computer in question and allowing it to resync.

In iTunes go to Account Info > iTunes in The Cloud > Manage Devices and click Remove the computer in question.

I am now 7 songs in without an ad...

Yeah I've already done that... made it a good 10 songs perhaps before the ads started up again.

Sometimes I'll get ads after 3 songs, sometimes it might be 10-15 songs.
