Nov 1, 2014 12:50 PM in response to Briansyddallby BMJ08,Thank you Brian. Cellar data is (and has always been) off for one device and is not available (eg wifi capability only) on the other. Any other ideas? both were working flawlessly prior to the update. We are heavy FaceTime users with family who lives out of town. I'm not sure was the iOS 8 update would have caused this issue to occur.

Nov 6, 2014 12:52 PM in response to BMJ08by geoffpassage,Hi
I'm havin the same issue on my iPad air ever since I upgraded to iOS 8.1.
I can make calls ok, but cannot end the call as the red 'end call' button is either not responding or not available.
I have to ask the person on the other end to end call.
The ipad is working of the wifi and is not a cellular one.

Nov 23, 2014 6:22 PM in response to BMJ08by hydrate,Hi all
My iPad air 2 does the same thing. However, a reboot fixes it for a couple of days and then it does it again. Hopefully 8.1.2 will address this.

Mar 20, 2015 11:37 AM in response to BMJ08by Juanmol,This situation is completely ridiculous. I have had this problem and I have been waiting them to fix it since iOS 8.0 or maybe even before that.
I cannot answer calls, I cannot finish calls, I cannot mute the microphone, put video on... Literally the Facetime app is just the crappiest app my iPad has.
I already restarted the iPad, restore the settings, did everything I could and the problem remains there. It is a software issue and no-one from Apple seems interested in solving it. I contacted Apple support and all they told me was to reset my settings again. Do you guys really think I will lose my time contacting technical support if the problem I had was so simple to solve? I am not one of those '...' people who buy apple stuff just to look cool, I have had this products since some years ago and I regret the way iOS has changed from a 'perfect' operative system where the things that crashed were third party apps to a point where the third party apps actually perform better than the integrated iOS apps.
I bought my parents and iPad, and they have the same problem. Sometimes I am the one who cannot answer calls, sometimes they are the ones who cannot answer the call.
Restarting the iPad SOMETIMES just fixes the issue for a couple days or even just hours.

Oct 16, 2015 1:29 PM in response to BMJ08by suze1947,Just had the problem on my iPhone 6. We were able to end the call by hitting the sleep button (but not holding it down long enough to completely turn it off.) Not sure if it will work on an ipad...

Jun 27, 2016 6:02 AM in response to BMJ08by halefar, this discussion seems to be stale but there does not seem to be a resolution to the issue. I am experiencing it still.
