    Un-install according to the developer's un-install instructions.

You do not need to use cleaning programs. They can destroy your computer operation as they may already have done.

    CleanMyMac - Uninstall

    CleanMyMac2 Un-install

After un-installing, run this program to make sure you got all the pieces.

    EasyFind – Spotlight Replacement

    Do a backup.

Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J.  When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder.  Select Library. Then go to Preferences/com.apple.appstore.plist. Move the .plist to your desktop.

Restart, open the application and test. If it works okay, delete the plist from the desktop.

If the application is the same, return the .plist to where you got it from, overwriting the newer one.

Thanks to leonie for some information contained in this.

First, you have CleanMyMac installed. This is junk software, as is all such "cleaning" software. Your Mac does not need this kind of cleaning. Uninstall it. Unfortunately, there's always a possibility that overzealous cleaning might have damaged your system, which could explain the problems you describe. If all else fails, you'll probably need to reinstall the system.

Second, you have LittleSnitch installed. If you aren't very comfortable with this kind of software, it may be more trouble than it's worth, as it could easily block a good connection if it were misconfigured. Try disabling it and see if that makes any difference. The same also applies to PeerGuardian.

You also have MacFUSE installed, which has not been maintained since 2009 and may not be fully compatible with your current system. It should be uninstalled.

iAntivirus was sold to Symantec years ago, but you have the older PC Tools version installed. The kernel extension is not loading, but it and any other components should be removed anyway. The only problem is that I don't know how to properly remove it, and PC Tools is no longer in existence, so you can't ask them.

You have a number of other third-party programs that I'm unfamiliar with. Any of them could be causing the problem. Uninstall any programs that you no longer need, using the uninstaller provided by the program. Do not use software like CleanMyMac to uninstall software... that won't work, no matter what promises the makers of such generic uninstallers make.

If nothing helps, try restarting in safe mode and see if you can get things working then. If you can, but they fail again when you restart normally, the problem is being caused by some other third-party software.
