Currently Being ModeratedJul 14, 2006 7:05 AM (in response to MorbenDK1)Quick and dirty version:
iDVD reports that assets have been modified, but this is not true.
in some cases I have been working on the iDVD project and click on the burn button only to find that I get stopped-- "Modified assets"... but, again.. none of the assets actually have been modified in any way.multiple machines

Not sure if this is the problem, but be sure to follow these chapter rules.
*Make sure no chapter markers are within two seconds of the start or end of the timeline.
*Make sure no chapter markers are within a transition.
*Make sure no chapter markers are within two seconds of the end of a transition.
I presume you have read these beacause of your statement about archiving...

However, this situation is a bit different-- I haven't used any chapter markers for these films. puzzling indeed.multiple machines
