Apr 21, 2014 5:13 AM in response to rog ducby léonie,Is iPhoto set to the correct Print Products Store? In the Preferences > Advanced panel? You need to order from a Print Products Store in the country, where your AppleID Billing Address is set to. And the Credit Card must be valid in that country.
I am not sure, if it is possible at all to order Prints any longer from iPhoto '08 at all; for books, calendars, and Cards the service has been discontinued, see:

Apr 21, 2014 6:00 AM in response to léonieby rog duc,Interesting - thanks. I am in the UK, and I used to receive prints from Germany. I can't find "Print Products Store" setting in my version of iPhoto ('09, 8.1.2). Sounds like I might have to pay to get the upgraded version from iLife '11?

With MacOS X 10.6.8 you could upgrade to iPhoto '11, version 9.2.4.
You can buy it as a boxed retail version as part of the iLife '11 applications, and then upgrade from the downloads Support page: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1514

I think the answer is pretty simple: you need to fork out more money to Apple by upgrading your software to get additional useless features but pay them to keep employing software developers to create them. and to think that apple was aiming to be different from IBM...
