Q: Every time I go to update my apps someone else's user id shows up in my logon screen!

WWhen I update my apps someone else's user id is in the login screen, how can this be fixed?

iPad, iOS 8.1

    That means that someone else purchased those apps with their Apple ID. You can't fix that. You can delete the apps and download them using your own Apple ID.

     

    If what I am proposing doesn't seem like that could be possible to you, then post back with some detailed information.

    Those apps must have been downloaded by a different user or you had an old Apple ID that you used to download those apps. Apps will forever be associated with the Apple ID used to purchase them or download them. The only way to stop the request for the alternate Apple ID and password is to delete those apps and re-install them using your Apple ID and password. Note that any data associated with those apps might be deleted so be sure to back up important files. Any of those apps that were paid for originally will have to be purchased again.
