Q: No sim card removal tool with iphone 6?

I called Apple Support and told them about it- they rep said that we don't get a sim card removal pin with the 6, but all the unboxing videos had the pins in them. Is this true, though?

That doesn't change anything. The SIM removal tool is only included with unlocked phones that don't come with a pre-installed SIM, as already posted in this thread. Whether they be the 6 Pro, the 6, the 5S, 5C, 5, 4S, 4, 3GS, 3 or Original.

Fourth iPhone, here. ALL purchased from ATT. Only my 6 didn't have the tool, and I lost the other ones. What is a paperclip, anyway? Oh, yeah. That silly mascot that Microsoft used to include with Office :-D

Last week I purchased an unlocked iPhone 6 not came with this removal tool. I think that was a fault on production. But the apple support team says: the SIM removal tool no comes with iPhone 6. Worst my new iphone 6 do not come with your manual (my last iPhone 5 came with those two items) was odd don't see the Hello when I pulled the documentation package. I think they must assume the error and send the missing items for everybody that bought a iphone 6 and wants those stuff.

You are not talking to Apple, this is a user to user forum.

With that said, No iPhone ever comes with a printed Manual.  Manuals are always available from Apple's website in PDF format.

    Apple - Support - Manuals

You can download it from there.

As to the Sim Tool as established previously in this thread. If the iPhone comes preinstalled with a sim card then the tool is not packaged in.

If the iPhone is unlocked and sim free, then it does have the sim tool.

In either case, a regular paperclip works just as well.

You receive money from apple? Did you pay 800,00 us$ by an phone that you have to ask assistance to put your SIM card in?

What I trying to say here is: the quality of box of iPhone 6 and accessories inside declining quality in comparison with iphone 5  (that come with basic printed manual and SIM remove tool).

No. I volunteer here.   Apple gives me absolutely nothing for being here.

I did pay $800 dollars for an iPhone.  I did not need to ask for any assistance. Replacing the sim card is simple even without the sim removal tool.  Just insert a paperclip. and push. The Try will slide out.  The sim removal tool is nothing more than metal piece with small tip to fit in a hole. A paperclip is the same thing.

Nothing has declined. As I said, iPhones have never had printed manuals, ever. And The sim tool only comes with iPhones that have no sim card pre-installed.

This was the case with iPhone 4, iPhone 5 iPhone 5s and now iPhone 6.

You are complaining about things that have always been like this as if they have changed.  But they have not.

This whole conversation has, while however amusing to me, gone on too far. Sorry you didn't get a SIM removal tool, perhaps its only packaged in certain models / carriers / versions (whatever). Or maybe its because 90% of people never knew what it was and threw it away, or never found it in the packaging and threw it away. As stated before, this is the tried and true simple solution

It comes complete 2 years ago, manual, SIM eject tool, ...

I purchase My new iphone 6 in the same place and it comes without the Manual and SIM eject tool. I am not worried about how take out my SIM card. I know do that, I am worried cause some guys here believe that is normal. Sorry guys, but it is not normal. Think in someone purchase your first iPhone, is not nice sait take a clip paper cause the tool that you need don't come with your phone, about the manual you can see later in internet when you discovery how do that. Sorry guys it is not nice. It is not right and I really do not believe that apple could be so dishonest told us that this stuff do not come with iphone 6, sorry but it must be with the phone. I believe there is a law about manuals and do not believe that is possible sell something only with online manual.

    See the picture:

If you call a small getting started pamphlet a "manual" then yes, you're right. iPhones used to come with them and apparently now don't. But, the actual manual has never been included, as noted above.

The SIM tool ONLY comes with SIM free phones. Phones that come with carrier SIMs don't have them. However, you can use the same one that came with your iPhone 5.

Time to get over it and move on with important things..

I was talking about the basic manual.

Sorry man but when you accept fault/defectives easily you are contributing with degradation of quality.

I live in a country where I see it in every where.

"degradation of quality"? If your phone wouldn't turn on, or maybe exploded while trying to make a phone call I'd be concerned. But the lack of a SIM card extractor? Please post questions and concerns, not vent 1st world problems here. You're also free to reference my post above with a perfectly good SIM extractor substitute to the "degradation of quality" in your new shiny iPhone
