Q: Aperture Book Tag

I'm publishing a book and it gave me an error on empty text boxes.
Fine. Took them all out of the layout.
Same error, and then parsing though the book I found thisks I've published

A hover tage on the text box that says '(icon) Version Name'
I've never seen this in all the books I've printed.
Can anyone shed any light ? The web certainly can't

You have added a Metadata Box to layout. It lets you add metadata as captions from the metadata added to the images in the books.

The "Version Name" tag is in the "Metadata" drop down menu:

once again - little lion to the rescue. thanks leonie - opened up a whole new layer for me.
    one question though.
it seems as though when one sets a metadata box ( in a book, for example ) it will only allow ONE variable ( like date, copywrite, etc )
    not multiples.
Also, when do you find yourself using this the most ?

    Thanks again >>

    You're welcome, JJ.

    one question though.

Right, each Metadata box can only show one metadata tag. But in Layout mode, you can click the "+" button more than once and add several Metadata boxes. It is a bit messy. They will appear on top of each other, but you can drag them to different positions and set each to a a different tag.

I use this mainly for the captions for my printed books. Only, when I have to document an experiment with on-site measurements do I use the date and time tags and keywords as well.
