what can i do to take my daughter music off my phone?
You are presumably using the same Apple ID as your daughter. This does not mean that you must have the same music on your phones, however (sorry, Brian).
On your phone go to Settings/iTunes & App Stores and turn off automatic sync. Then delete the music you don't want. It won't come back.
If you sync music from the same iTunes on the same computer you can sync different music for each device; connect a device, click on it in iTunes, then click Music in the left sidebar. Select the music you want and unselect the music you don't, then click Sync.
Now that Family Sharing is supported it is not essential to use the same ID, but you don't have to change to keep your music separate.
