Dec 16, 2014 7:21 PM in response to Jonno the fusspotby rbrylawski,Do you mean you want to go back to a lower version of iOS? If you do, you can't.

Dec 16, 2014 7:49 PM in response to rbrylawskiby Jonno the fusspot,Yeah, back to its factory supplied OS. Trying to trouble shoot (out of warranty) to see if it's the new iOS that's causing my phone to disconnect while connected to the the Mobile Network.
See this link for details:

If you have any other suggestions, please let me know.
Thanks very much,
Jonno

Dec 16, 2014 7:52 PM in response to Jonno the fusspotby rbrylawski,Try resetting your network settings, which often helps in situations like this. Make sure you know your router sign in information.

Dec 16, 2014 7:55 PM in response to Jonno the fusspotby Ralph9430,Since Apple does not support downgrading the iOS I suggest you start a new question that gives a good title to a specific problem. Then in the body of the thread describe the problem in detail, tell us what steps you have tried so far to correct the problem, what happened, and what error messages you received.

Dec 17, 2014 1:49 AM in response to Ralph9430by Jonno the fusspot,Hi Ralph,
I did actually, but no one has answered it. Here's the link:
Connection dropped even though Network service is good (incl. messages, calls, 3G & 4G data)
I think I've done everything there is to do bar reverting to the iOS the phone came with. I thought you could do some kind of reset like you can do on an iMac or MacBook where it restores the OS the device came with and then you can choose whether to upgrade from there.
The phone was working perfectly on iOS 7. I should have taken my wife's advice and not upgraded. She's on iOS 7 on her 5c and hasn't had a single issue.
If I wasn't out of warranty, this would be a no brainer. Guess I'm gonna have to plead with my phone company - if I can't make a call, they can't earn any money off me... ;-)
Wish me luck!

Dec 17, 2014 1:51 AM in response to rbrylawskiby Jonno the fusspot,Thanks for the suggestion, but if you read my other post you will see that I've tried that - that was the first thing I did when it happened - it's a good trick, but that no longer works, for some reason.
