So are we to assume that when you open Printers & Scanners and click the plus button to add, with the Default view selected the Epson is not visible?

If yes, then a protocol called Bonjour is responsible for making the printer visible and there are other users who have upgraded to Yosemite and found the same issue.

Until Apple determines the cause of this problem one workaround you could try is to add the printer using one of the IP protocols included with the OS. To do this you will need to know the IP address of the printer. You may be able to determine this via one of the other Mac's that are still printing to the Epson. Or by printing a network configuration page via the Epson control panel. Once you find the IP address the printer is using you can open Printers & Scanner, click the plus button to add and then select the IP icon next to the Default icon. You can then enter the Epson IP address in the Address field, change the protocol to HP Jetdirect-Socket and in the Use menu, select the Epson WF3520 driver. Once you have added the printer then open a document and see if you can print.

Hi Pahu thank you so much, after 3 days of online chat and searching you're the only one to have solved this problem...I entered the IP address and it printed but still can't find "Image capture" since upgrading...so scanning it going to be hard to do! any ideas on this please?

    Thanks again

Good to read that printing is resolved. As for scanning, without Bonjour operating correctly on your Mac, Image Capture will not locate the Epson on the network. So check the Epson web site for a scanner driver and application. A vendors application may use different protocols to locate the device. If there is no scanning app from Epson, and if you don't have a lot of scanning to do, you may be able to scan to USB memory on the Epson.
