Q: Connecting an Epson WF 3520
Hi all..I have tried everything to get my printer to connect since I updated to Yosemite...this printer worked fine before this upgrade...I've downloads new drivers, reset printer, added and deleted the printer and still nothing...I have not cables as the printer is wifi and the printer works with all my other devises so it has to be the iMac and Yosemite...any ideas please..also I'm a complete novice so any answers in plain simple terms please..

So are we to assume that when you open Printers & Scanners and click the plus button to add, with the Default view selected the Epson is not visible?
If yes, then a protocol called Bonjour is responsible for making the printer visible and there are other users who have upgraded to Yosemite and found the same issue.
Until Apple determines the cause of this problem one workaround you could try is to add the printer using one of the IP protocols included with the OS. To do this you will need to know the IP address of the printer. You may be able to determine this via one of the other Mac's that are still printing to the Epson. Or by printing a network configuration page via the Epson control panel. Once you find the IP address the printer is using you can open Printers & Scanner, click the plus button to add and then select the IP icon next to the Default icon. You can then enter the Epson IP address in the Address field, change the protocol to HP Jetdirect-Socket and in the Use menu, select the Epson WF3520 driver. Once you have added the printer then open a document and see if you can print.
