Nov 13, 2014 7:31 AM in response to NickMac7by hawtboi,Thanks for the video. I guess the mod deleted your post because it referred to Jailbreaking (aka making the iPhone better).

Nov 15, 2014 8:43 PM in response to NickMac7by johanfromturnhout,Thanks NickMac7 for the effort but the video is probably removed. Another way to explain how I can modify the stock carrier settings?

Nov 17, 2014 5:17 PM in response to johanfromturnhoutby NickMac7,In iOS 6 you could modify them but Apple started signing them in iOS 7 so when you modify them it will simply reset it self, fail to use cellular data, (other random issue here)

Nov 26, 2014 2:55 PM in response to NickMac7by DiegoWong,Hi Nick, So what happens to your explanation? How can we fix this problem? Pleace tell us how to change de carrier data on the iPhone.
Thanks

Nov 26, 2014 4:45 PM in response to DiegoWongby NickMac7,It is extremely hard to modify the iPhone carrier bundles without jail breaking or breaking the signature on the carrier bundle itself. There was a way to do it on iOS 7 because iOS 7 did not completely kill AFC2, unfortunately iOS 8 did.

Nov 27, 2014 11:49 AM in response to robAsandersonby Sumit 99939,Hi ,
the 2g/3g toggle appears only with selected network providers. In India , it works fine with Vodafone but while using other networks such as Airtel and few others, it shows "Enable lte" option only.
You can try switching to other network and see if its working.
Regards
Sumit

Dec 18, 2014 9:13 PM in response to rsav78by ajith_48,Ok here is the solution. I Have tried and tested. 100% working. There is no issues with the ios. It is just the carrier update which is causing the problem. According to Airtel, there will be only 3G and 4G from 2015 onwards in India. So they have jump in front of time and updated their carrier setting with the new one. And it affected the battery life very badly. What i have done is port my number to Vodafone. And everything become normal. 2G/3G toggle is back, battery even lasts for atleast 2 days. This is the ultimate solution for this.
