Q: App Store on iPhone asking for password of an account that has been deleted?

My old Apple ID account has been deleted and signed out of my iPhone (in iCloud and iTunes/app settings). New account has been logged in.

Yet when I try to update/download apps from App Store app, my phone still asks for the password to the old account that doesn't exist anymore!

I put in my old password and of course it doesn't work. What can I do?

I also have a factory unlock on my phone, completed in the uk.

Thank you!

You will need to delete any iTunes content bought with the old Apple ID and buy it again with the new Apple ID. Content is forever tied to the Apple ID that bought it. Apple does not transfer content from one Apple ID to another. Apple does not merge Apple IDs. You will never be able to redownload or update your content bought with one Apple ID with a new Apple ID.
