Q: Text on book master pages won't retain formatting

I have been trying for hours to get the text to correctly format on a metadata box and have been totally unsuccessful.  I did finally get it to align the way I wanted it to (right justify instead of left) but it keeps using a larger font size than I want and it will NOT retain it in the master.  Actually, just applying a font and size change will cause it to break the link to the metadata.

Any one have a solution for this issue.  I'm getting tired of manually applying formatting to 64 pages.

And don't even get me started on the VERY limited number of metadata fields that can be linked to.

Same problem. Very frustrating. The master page shows the font properly: I took a "1-up" master, added a text box bottom right. Good so far. That box is Helvetica-Neue, regular style, 17 point, align left, gray text. I changed it to Helvetica-Neue, thin, 12 point, align right, white.

This shows properly on the master page as what I want. But EVERY page to which the master is applied shows the text in what Apple originally set the box to be.

Very frustrating. I guess with Aperture going away this won't get fixed but perhaps the new 'Photos' app will get it right?
