Q: Best quality in DVD Studio Pro 4.2.2 with DVCPro HD 1080i60 sequence

I have a sequence that is slightly under two hrs. Acquired on Panasonic P-2  DVCPro HD 1080i 60. Edited on FCP 7.0.3 as 1080i 60. Suggestions for best compression in Compressor 3.5.3 and setting in DVD Studio Pro 4.2.2.  Right now some of the video looks as though it has field shifting and artifacts in some diagonal line. Thanks  Wish it had been shot in standard def.  Editing on Mac Pro 1.1 - 8 core 2.66 GHz - 12 GB ram.

DVD Studio Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Did you try Apple's "DVD: Best Quality 120 minutes" setting?

If that did not work, you can try to add "compression markers" before the problematic sections in FCP. This tells Compressor to pay particular attention to the following section.

    Good luck,
