Q: Sync albums from iPad to iMac

II've created albums of pictures on my iPad, so how do I get albums to show up in iPhoto on my iMac when I sync the two?

Also, when I try using a third party to print photos (like Costco), and i try adding prints to print, it takes me to my file location on the iMac, but I cannot find where albums are being stored, only events. Where are albums stored? Thanks

    That is not yet possible.

iPhoto only can see the photos in your Camera Roll on the iPad, but not the albums and the adjustments to applied to the photos on the iPad, see this support document:  iPhoto and Aperture don't have edits to photos you import from iOS 8 devices.

This will change, when iCloud Photo Library beta will become available on the Mac with the Photos.app early next year.

Albums do not exist as folders in your iPhoto library. They are just entries in the database files inside.

To access the albums from other applications, use the Media Browser.
