Q: Why doesn't my MacBook Pro recognize Blue Yeti microphone?

I have a Blue Yeti microphone and when I plug it though USB to my MacBook Pro I can't find it. I have my internal sound input only.

I use Yosemite OS X.

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.1), Blue Yeti

You're looking at the Sound input in System Settings? Should simply work. If you plug headphones direction into the Yeti, do you hear anything?

No I don't hear anything too. I pluged it to another MacBook Pro and It's working. I don't know what is the problem.

Try another USB device on that specific port, verify it isn't the port. There are no drivers to install, quite odd. Do both MBPs have the same version of OS X?

Both of MBPs using Yosemite It's not the port I've tried all. Also changed the cable twice. The strangest thing .. It's working now! IDK how? or what happened?

I've noticed other USB mics have spotty connectivity. No clue. At least it is working now!
