Q: "lost" I photo pics

I cut my pictures when trying to transfer pictures from one folder to another one. They were cut, but not deleted, but then were "lost" and I can't find them. Now they are no longer in the original folder either. Where can I find them

iOS will not run on iMacs, neither will iPhoto, neither is Classic (the forum you just posted in) anything to do with Macs that can sync with iOS 8. Please find a more appropriate place to post your question here:

After selecting the Apple menu and About This Mac, and clicking once on iPhoto in the Finder, and selecting Get Info from the File menu to find the iPhoto version.
