Q: can no longer send photos by email from iPhoto, have to use other method. Only happened since installing Yosemite

I think it is since installing Yosemite, cannot share photos direct from iPhoto with Mail. Message is that cannot connect to Server, etc. have seen the support message re this error message so have to use Mail direct, wonder if other people have same problem.

iMac (21.5-inch Mid 2010), OS X Yosemite (10.10.1), Mac Mail

Thanks for the response but I used to have no problem sending from iPhoto so clearly my ISP supports it, it's only since Yosemite was installed that the problem has emerged. I probably will wait until the new Photo App comes out before I start altering things.

In the iphoto preference, there is an option to send photos by email.

WWith all due respect to you I know the option but the fact is I should be able to send direct from iPhoto and I cant, I was seeking an answer as to why.
