Q: Can't reset apple security questions

Hi, I created an apple account and based the country in the USA even if I'm living in the Philippines. My cousin gave me a gift card for christmas and this is the first time i'll be purchasing on that us account. Now i'm trying to reset the answers to my security question its been ages since i created the answers to those question and im not exactly sure what i answered.

 

How come i dont see the link to reset it or send the reset link to my alternate email address?

 

Is there any way I can do this without calling support?

iPhone 4S, iOS 8.1.2

    The reset link will only show if you have a rescue email address on your account - an alternate email address is different, it is not used for resetting questions. You will have to contact Support to get them reset.

     

    You have to be in a country to use its store, if you are in the Philippines then you can only use the Philippine store - otherwise you are violating the store's terms (terms that you agreed to).

     

    You can either wait until you are back in the US so that you can contact US support. Or put your real address on your account and contact Philippine support : Contact Apple for help with Apple ID account security

     

    When they've been reset you can add a rescue email address for potential future use : Manage your Apple ID primary, rescue, alternate, and notification email addresses

     

    You won't be able to change countries whilst you have a balance on your account, so if you've redeemed the gift card then you will have to ask iTunes Support to remove it so that you can change to your true address : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
