    Hello dmfny,

    The requirements I see are:

    • Valid Apple ID (Learn more about Apple ID)
    • Safari 6.1 or later on a Mac
    • Mozilla Firefox 12 or later on a Mac or PC
    • Google Chrome 28 or later on a Mac or PC

    That from

Access and manage courses online with iTunes U - Apple Support

Note you may not have unlimited enrollment and storage without an iTunes U Public Site as when I check it out, if I click Learn More at "Your Apple ID is not affiliated with an institution with an iTunes U public site. I see:

Being affiliated with an institution with an

iTunes U public site allows you to request

your iTunes U Public Site Manager

administrator to publish your courses in the

iTunes U catalog. Published courses have

unlimited enrollment and storage. If your

institution does not have a public iTunes U

site, learn how your institution can apply for

    one.

    Take care,
    Nubz

@dmfny: In short, no. Only affiliated institutions may publish courses to iTunes U's public catalog. From iTunes U's help pages (https://help.apple.com/itunesu/instructor/#/itudba313385):

To make a course public, an affiliated instructor must submit a request to their institution’s iTunes U Public Site Manager administrator and the administrator must add the course to the institution’s iTunes U site.

    @Nubz N.: "allifiated"? Really?
