Q: Error 3014 Unable to restore

I was trying to update my iPad via USB to my computer and when I thought it had finished, I went over to my iPad and saw a screen showing to connect it to iTunes (which it already was), and it would not respond to anything else. A notification popped up on iTunes that my iPad was unable to be updated and now needed to be restored to factory settings. I tried to do that but it gave me an error 3014 saying it was unable to be restored. I tried putting it into recovery mode and doing it that way- same error message. I don't know what to do at this point other than to take it in... Any tips?
