Q: My iPad is locked by iCloud after upgrade to system 8
My iPad is locked by iCloud after an upgrade to system 8. I reset my password for my apple id and iCloud, but still cannot get into my iPad. The new password does not work on my iPad. What do I do next? This is ridiculous from an upgrade????

I tried Apple Care, they would not give me to the Account Security Team, kept me on the phone for over an hour, and never did solve my problem. At the end of the call, my iPad was still locked.
BUT I found this article and solved the problem myself:
Forgot passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support
So all is well now. If this happens to you, follow the directions in this article!
