Jan 6, 2015 12:00 PM in response to LadyLazenbyby ChitlinsCC,★HelpfulSorry about your accident... Regardless of driving ability, you are going to need to take your iPhone to an Apple Authorized SERVICE Provider. You can locate one near your current location by going here > https://locate.apple.com/ = and providing the filtering info as the picture illustrates
hope this helps

Jan 6, 2015 12:03 PM in response to LadyLazenbyby ChrisJ4203,You may also have a problem since your device is from Australia. The local Apple stores in the US cannot provide a proper device to replace yours. You may have to get someone to provide you a replacement from Australia.

Jan 6, 2015 12:25 PM in response to LadyLazenbyby ChitlinsCC,What Chris says MAY be true. If the AASP does not have a replacement PART - say if it is just the clear plastic face covering the display, the AASP may have that (or may have a screen as well) - AASPs are a bit different from Apple in that they may be more akin to your local TV repair shop.

Jan 6, 2015 12:30 PM in response to ChitlinsCCby KiltedTim,I don't know where you're from, but there are no AASPs in the US that can service iPhones. ONLY Apple can service them.

Jan 6, 2015 12:37 PM in response to LadyLazenbyby KiltedTim,Apple doesn't replace the display on the 4S. They will replace the entire phone.

Jan 6, 2015 12:41 PM in response to LadyLazenbyby ChrisJ4203,An out of warranty replacement for the 4s is $199. But as I said, the problem is your regional phone. You may have to see about purchasing a non-contract phone at Wal-Mart or something like that, but I would see what Apple can do for you. Here is a list of stores in Georgia.
Georgia
- Alpharetta, North Point
- Atlanta, Cumberland Mall
- Atlanta, Lenox Square
- Atlanta, Perimeter
- Augusta, Augusta
- Buford, Mall of Georgia

all I know is that one can go to https://locate.apple.com/ = and provide the filtering info as the picture illustrates
As I cannot go further because I am not able to provide an actual address in Savannah, GA - then pick a carrier - I have no idea what path anyone would be led down thereafter.
I would add - CALL whatever result appears before making a trip.

Jan 6, 2015 12:49 PM in response to LadyLazenbyby ChitlinsCC,★Helpfulyour solution is to get what Law Enforcement refers to as a "Burner Phone" - just a phone to use here until you are able to get home - shouldn't be too expensive -
Just to make calls, text message & check email does not require an iPhone, just a SmartPhone.

Jan 6, 2015 12:50 PM in response to LadyLazenbyby ChrisJ4203,I realize they are global and you can purchase something here, it is just that the iPhone warranty is not international, and service is only supplied in the country of purchase. A phone purchased in Australia cannot receive warranty/post-warranty support in the US. Just trying to help.

Jan 6, 2015 1:01 PM in response to LadyLazenbyby ChrisJ4203,You're welcome. As stated earlier, you are probably better going to Wal-Mart and getting a Go phone, or as ChitlinsCC called it, a burn phone. In other words, they do not have a contract and use a pre-paid SIM to work, and cannot be traced to a carrier and/or user like a contract phone can. Good luck and if you have any other questions, you can come back.
