Q: Wifi Connected- Only Chrome works?
Hi, so recently the internet on my macbook air 13 (early 2014, 1.4Ghz Intel core i5, 4gb RAM) running on OSX 10.10 has not been working.
It works perfectly connected to my phone but not on the mac, therefore it must be problem some with the mac.
Wifi is connected, internet works perfectly on chrome and skype but nothing else, despite a little bit of lag.
Can't connect to mac app store, safari, spotify... etc.
Did a Network Diagnostics
Wifi: Green
Wifi Settings: Green
Network Settings: Green
ISP: Green
Internet: Red
Server: Red
In System Preferences > Network
Wifi Status: Connected
TCP/IP:
Configure IPv4: Using DHCP
IPv4: 192.162.2.2
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Router: 192.162.2.1
DNS:
DNS Servers: 192.162.2.1
Nothing from proxies checked
Hardware:
MAC Address: 48:d7:05:e6:90:8f
Configure: Automatically
MTU: Standard (1500)
Tried restarting mac and router, resetting router, flushing dns, recreating network (with new location), changing DNS servers (i.e. google 8.8.8.8)
Any ideas on how to fix this?
Many Thanks
(Sorry for the long post)
