Oct 31, 2014 9:07 AM in response to loonrangerby WebbKJ,I have this problem as well. I was able to bypass this. When my printer window opened the document was either completely blank or completely blacked out. There is a category in the print window title Comments and Forms. Using the drop box I switched it to document instead of document and markups. My document suddenly appeared. I had my pop-up blocker on! Hope this helps.

Jan 7, 2015 9:49 AM in response to JGatsbyby Eric Root,Apple doesn’t routinely monitor the discussions. These are mostly user to user discussions.
Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.
Or you can use your Apple ID to register with this site and go the Apple BugReporter. Supposedly you will get an answer if you submit feedback.

Jan 7, 2015 10:25 AM in response to loonrangerby JGatsby,The problem turned out to be more of an Adobe issue rather than an Apple issue but I think they both suck for not paying better attention to this kind of thing. The bottom line is that I shouldn't have to worry that getting a new version of the OS is going to stop basic things like printing ******* PDFs from working. IMO this is a general trend toward crappy design that is pervasive across all the major vendors. Everyone cares about adding a lot of ******** that most people don't know or care about and in the mean time things that we do care about and should be really simple end up getting broken and each vendor points to the other and we have to pay $$ to support people just to get the most basic things to work. Anyway, if others are still having the problem for me it was fixed by opening the document with the Preview app rather than the piece of **** Adobe Acrobat which somehow got set to the default.

Jan 17, 2015 7:38 AM in response to JGatsbyby dottykalm,Thank you JGatsby for the work around. My customers send me PDFs though an online fax, and they were printing blank. I think you are right, crappy design trends. This should be basic requirement, printing PDFs. Obviously, they didn't put this through the proper QA.

Jun 17, 2015 10:56 AM in response to JGatsbyby maryde,This problem just started today for me. It must be because I upgraded Adobe. I use Yosemite. Printing from Preview is a nuisance but it works. Thank you, JGatsby
