Q: i need to reset my iphone 5, how can i confirm all of my contacts and infomation is backed up in icloud?


I have been having issues with apps on my iphone5, the apps are crashing as soon as I tap on them, I was told that I need to do a reset, how can I confirm that my contacts and other information has been saved to icloud?

iPhone 5, iOS 8.1.2

    Contacts aren't backed up and therefore aren't restored from a back up either. They are synced with the cloud, so after you have restored your device you should be able to sign back into your account and turn syncing back on again. If you need to check if your contacts are in the cloud, go to iCloud.com on a computer.
