Apr 26, 2012 2:35 AM in response to Redwing227by Chamar,.PUB is an old Microsoft proprietary format.
A Google search gives varying answers. Many say is is not possible and others say there are online resources that may convert a .PUB to a PDF.
This one seems to be the most popular. I have not tried it and have no idea if it works.
I still run MS Publisher under Parallels Desktop on one on my iMacs.

Apr 4, 2013 7:30 PM in response to Redwing227by Shamus71,I have just discovered http://www.zamzar.com
Everyone on the net seems fixated with converting the .pub to .pdf. But this option allows you to convert .pub to .doc. and .docx. Which is far more handy if you want to edit or work with the document!

Apr 16, 2014 12:04 PM in response to Vikinggrrlby RLisleW,The zamzar site converted my .pub file to Word, but all the table borders and pictures were converted to one fixed overlay, so it wasn't much use. It also dropped spaces and changed a few letters.

Feb 6, 2015 8:17 AM in response to Redwing227by Big Time Bookie,I had a Publisher file that I needed and the Zamzar link worked perfectly!! Thanks Shamus71!! I converted the pub file to PDF without issue. I also printed it out and it printed beautifully as if I had done it all myself. Awesome!!
I decided to go and convert it to Word. What it seems to do is convert the file to a JPG and place it in Word. Mine was un-editable but at least I could see it and use it. You have to open the document and not use Quick Look in Finder to see the final project.
If I had wanted to make changes, I would have been out of luck. FYI- I do keep an old PC around just for this reason. Today I didn't have that PC available.

Apr 5, 2016 7:39 PM in response to Redwing227by Suk9,you can try this one here: http://online2pdf.com/pub2pdf
It converts PUB files to PDF, and you can convert many files at once. I tried it and it's cool, you don't need to put your email or anything.

Apr 5, 2016 7:41 PM in response to Redwing227by Csound1,Libre Office can open .pub files, with a few errors in formatting.

Apr 15, 2016 11:31 AM in response to Redwing227by Allerdyce,The Libre Office can open this document. I just checked online as my office is all M$, and I was sent a .pub document, and I was able to open it without any incident. Unfortunately though, it will not save it in .pub format.
