Q: Yosemite iphoto not opening

I upgraded to Yosemite and iPhoto will no longer operate. I have clicked the learn more button and downloaded the upgrader to prepare the library. Once I have installed it nothing happens.  When I try to update the iPhoto app it is telling me I have the latest version.
