Q: iPhone 4S microphone not working
I tried calling my friend and my microphone isn't working all of a sudden. It just was a half hour ago when I took a Snapchat video. I tried my talk to text and tried to talk to Siri but nothing happened. I didn't drop my phone and there is nothing blocking the mic. I tried restarting the phone and even just connecting it to iTunes since last time it glitches and my speakers decided not to work, I connected it to iTunes and voilá it started working like nothing happened. Any help would be great thanks!

First, try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose data by resetting.
If this does not help, set it up as new device, explained here:

If still no luck, get it checked by visiting an Authorized Apple Service Provider or contact Apple Support to get it serviced:
