I had an email from OrderProcessingEMEIA@apple.com asking me to call them urgently regarding my order, is this genuine?

The email was from someone called

Delson Lee

The Apple Online Store

Free phone number: 0800 107 6283 and choose extension 28900085

I tried calling back but couldn't get through.

Just wondering if this is a scam or fake?

Thanks

I would be very dubious about this. The same message has been reported in Greek and Japanese forums. If you actually have an order in process in the Online Store and you want to check up you should go to the web page for the Store in your country and look near the bottom right of the page for the phone number, and ring that.

OK, so I called the main Customer Service online purchase number and they confirmed that an email was sent and it was legitimate.

The reason for contact was regarding the payment which I had done on a new credit card, the bank needed me to authorise the payment.

    Thanks
