Thanks for the question. Did you have a previously unpaid order? If so, the negative balance would have been subtracted from the gift card redemption:

Jan 12, 2015 7:53 AM in response to Matt_M.by KaiAsper,Matt_M the only thing I had on my last purchase history was paid with a CC and not the funds from my account. Just in case the product was faulty, I could dispute the charge on my credit card.
