Q: Wireless MX340 printer help
Just bought Macbook Air for Xmas. First Mac! Trying to get Canon MX340 wireless printer working. Mac will not recognize printer even though PC's are able to print just fine wirelessly (ie...wirfeless capability is functioning properly)....System Preferences-> Printers & Scanners-> "+" = NOTHING available to select? Tried to download Canon drivers...no luck? Have read many posts and Apple support document, but can't figure this out. Help please!!

Now that you have the driver installed and working, you can turn off the power to the MX340 and disconnect the USB cable. Then turn the power back on and allow the MX some time to reconnect to your wireless router. A minute should be fine. Then on the Mac, open Printers & Scanners and click the plus button to add. A small window may appear with a heading of Nearby Printers and the MX may be shown. If not, the Default printer window will appear and the MX should be listed - once showing Bonjour Scanner and after several seconds another entry should appear showing canonijnetwork in the Kind column. Does this happen?
