Q: What happens when synch takes place
I have recently purchased an Ipad air and have synchronised it with my PC via Itunes and this worked fine and loaded all my Itunes music onto the laptop, My question is about what happens during the subsequent synchs. i have a couple of different situations in mind.
1. In the situation where some new songs have been added to the PC and some different new songs have been added to the Ipad, will any subsequent synch result in all the new songs being on both devices (the synch is set to All Music)
2. If I amend the Info details for a song (eg the genre) on the PC but not on the Ipad, will the synch change the info details of that song on the laptop or leave them as before or maybe even change the PC details back to what they were originally.
iPad Air, iOS 8.1.2

When you sync music from your PC what is on the PC takes precedence. If you have added new songs to the PC and sync then they will be added to the iPad. However, new songs added to your iPad won't move to your PC via a sync (in fact they could be deleted from the iPad). iTunes will warn you of this. To move those new purchases to the PC library there is an iTunes Transfer Purchases feature. Note that if Automatic Downloads is turned on this problem won't arise (Enable Automatic Downloads - Apple Support).
in general, changes l(ike the genre) made on the PC will be moved to the iPad but not the other way around.
