Q: How can I fix a noise problem in multi-output device?

I have the same issues on my Mac Mini (2013).  Did you find a solution for this problem?

I'm suffering from the same thing.

Whichever device isn't "Master" suffers from static prickling sound.

Tested between Macbook pro retina + cinema display (using both audio outputs)

Paired with a Bose mini soundlink bluetooth speaker.

Tried playing around with Sample Rates and Drift Correction to no avail

I tried various combinations of things, but nothing worked.  The fact that it seems to happen on different machines makes me think it has something to do with software.

There's a good chance the REAL culprit here is just that "Drift Correction" checkbox. Uncheck it and post here if that worked for you. Still seems a bit of a mystery and I'm trying to spread the word so other people don't have to waste an entire day [or more] like I did.
