Jan 17, 2015 4:55 PM in response to accawoodsby spudnuty,Hello accawoods and welcome to Apple Support Communities,
Apple security updates (25-Jan-2005 to 21-Dec-2007) - Apple Support
and an article on how to do it:
http://appleinsider.com/articles/07/11/14/apple_releases_mac_os_x_10_4_11_update _for_tiger_users
Note:
"Apple warns that users of the update may experience unexpected results if they have third-party system software modifications installed, or if they've modified the operating system through other means."
Good luck.

Jan 18, 2015 4:55 PM in response to accawoodsby K Shaffer,The only apparent Security Updates for Tiger 10.4.11 would have been installed by the Combo
update file -- that includes all updates to the Tiger 10.4 system, plus the last 2007 era update...
If you have 10.4 system install-restore discs, per my recommendation in your other thread,
I suggest you check, test, & consider re-installing a new system. Vintage third-party utilities
may be able to test or repair the hard disk drive should it prove to be defective. If it is worn
and near failure, no amount of disk utility or repair can restore damaged or worn hardware.
Good luck & happy computing!
