Q: Why wont airdrop work on my iphone 6?

I am trying to send photos from an old iphone 5 to my new iphone 6 using airdrop.

On both phones am connected to wifi, have bluetooth turned on, and have my airdrop set to discoverable to everyone, yet airdrop will not discover the other phone. How do I fix this?!!

Are both iPhones awake with the screen on? If so try a reset of both phones. Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot.

Both phones are awake and I have reset them both. They will connect to other phones' airdrop but not with each other!
