Q: Not seeing songs from iTunes folder
I last year purchased a new rMacBook Pro i7 with 16 GB RAM and 128 SSD and have updated to Yosemite. Moved my old music folder contents (50 GB) from my old macbook into my new music under the home folder but didn't look for songs until today. No songs listed in iTunes.
Because I can not see any songs in iTunes, I try "Add to library..." in the File menu and select the Music folder. iTunes says "Organizing library" and I see many songs flash by.
But... I still can't see any of my songs in the iTunes browser and it says I have only one item.
Help please...
Thanks.
MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.1), 16GB RAM, 500GB SSD

Hi there Gordon,
It sounds like you moved an iTunes library from a older MacBook to a new MacBook Pro and recently noticed that most of the music is missing from iTunes. Take a look at the article linked below, it provides troubleshooting tips that can help you resolve issues like this one.
