If you're using a version of Safari older than 5.1.10, run the Software Update pane of System Preferences until it reports that the computer is up to date.

If you're using Safari 5.1.10, you need to upgrade the computer's OS(all newer Mac OS X versions require at least a Core 2 Duo CPU and 2GB of RAM, and those past 10.7.5 require a 64-bit EFI) or switch browsers.

You can also run a different browser - I am running latest Opera for Mac - others are running Firefox or Chrome.

Thanks. I only have 1GB of ram. Maybe that is the problem? I tried to upgrade browser but I do not have the 2GB ram to upgrade.

Safari can't be updated past 5.1.10 without installing at least Lion on the computer.

You do not have upgrade your OS X version to get a better Web browser experience.

Try using another web browser, instead.

Stay away from Google Chrome and any Googkewares for the Mac.

Download and install Mozilla FireFox, instead.

The current, up-to-date version of FireFox is fully compatible with OS X and is regularly updated by the great developers of the Mozilla group.
