Jan 21, 2015 5:52 PM in response to simmeowby deggie,It looks to me that the case you used had some slippage and abraded the iPhone. Apple does not replace iPhones under warranty for cosmetic reasons, keep it in your case and it won't be visible anyway.
That is your choice, switch to an Android device if you wish. I doubt any of the volunteers who participate here will care one way or another.

Jan 22, 2015 2:57 AM in response to simmeowby simmeow,Anyway, Apple customer care has acknowledged that this is an unique case after they looked into the matter. No thanks to the authorised service centre which didn't bother to forward my situation to them properly.
I know I can count on Apple now. More confident to get more products from Apple

Aug 29, 2015 6:31 AM in response to vicharesby Tamersweed,I have just noticed the same problem. I have my iPhone 6 plus (gold) in a protective cover since day one. Just today while cleaning it to notice the paint has peeled. This is really disappointing when you buy the most expensive phone on planet and the paint peels !

May 4, 2016 12:43 AM in response to Dayne1612by phat dat from vung tau,In our country VietNam, many iphone 6s or 6s+ got this problem but the AASP denied warranty for cosmetics reason (although we do nothing for this problem).
I hope Apple have the answer as soon as possible because it's not "a cheap phone"!!!

I've had my phone for four months and this is what's happened , I've had a clear cover on , haven't dropped it , haven't put it on any hard or scratchy surface .

I would stop using that case immediately. It's either being caused by the case alone, or some derby found its way into the case and through shifting around, caused several abrasions. If you purchased the case directly from Apple.com or an Apple Retail Store, it may be worth checking customer reviews of that case to see if other customers have experienced that as well.
I am including a photo of my phone for comparison. I pre-ordered it, so I have had it since September of last year.
Actually...just noticing the CE0682...etc. Apple did not include this on the iPhone 6s. Where did you purchase your iPhone from?
