Jan 22, 2015 12:44 PMby SergZak,This seems to be a common issue within the last few days (at least). It also seems to be on Apple's end but one never knows. There are numerous other posts here in these forums outlining the same issue. Here are a couple of them:
imessage and Facetime sign in activation error iPad ios8.1.2
Tried everything, FaceTime has an error occurred during activation on my iPad Air.
Maybe one of them will help you out, but if the issue is indeed on Apple's end, there's not much anyone can do until they resolve it.

Lets hope two weeks and we see the problem soloved. Looking back it has happened to some people with the iOS 7 as well.

The activation error every time I tried to open messages and face time has resolved so far with the installing of the latest Apple software ios 8 .thank goodness - was just about to ring and try and sort with Apple
my fingers are crossed that that's it!
