Jan 11, 2015 12:40 PM in response to LizarkKing1960by The Art Of Sound,My guess is you have another Control Surface installed that is interfering with LR's functions...
Try the following...
Quit the LR app on your iPad.. (Don't just close it but quit it....)
http://osxdaily.com/2013/09/28/quit-apps-in-ios-7/
Then...
Delete Logic'ss CS (Control Surface) prefs
Delete the user preferences
You can resolve many issues by restoring Logic Pro X back to its original settings. This will not impact your media files. To reset your Logic Pro X user preference settings to their original state, do the following:
- Quit Logic Pro
- In the Finder, choose Go to Folder from the Go menu.
- Type ~/Library/Preferences in the "Go to the folder" field.
- Press the Go button.
- Remove the com.apple.logic.pro.cs file from the preferences folder.
- If you have upgraded from an earlier version of Logic Pro, you should also remove ~/Library/Preferences/Logic/com.apple.logic.pro.
- Restart the computer.
Note: Follow the above instructions to the letter.... If you cannot find the CS file, you didn't follow this instruction!
Now Launch Logic and create a new blank project
Reconnect LR and test.....

Jan 23, 2015 11:15 AM in response to LizarkKing1960by LizarkKing1960,Following Nigels fix solves the problem, but only temporarily. Logic Remote seems to dive into a freaked out stage in which it does not know what track I am fiddling with, then I close out and re open and all is well for about 2 minutes and poof off the cliff it goes again. Virtually a useless app.
My systems is not cluttered with apps and BS. I do have Logic Control Universe installed now but this problem reared it's head before MCU was installed.
The computer is all new and clean from contaminants. It doesn't go on the WWW either so it stays clean. No reason why this Logic Remote app should malfunction as much as it does.

Jan 23, 2015 11:49 AM in response to LizarkKing1960by The Art Of Sound,I may now be seeing the same or similar problems to you.... in as much as LR keeps locking up or becoming non responsive after in my case... opening up the plugin viewer in it, with certain 3rd party AU plugins....
It also de-syncs every so often and requires me to quit LR on the iPad (not just close it) quit LPX too.. re launch LPX, launch LR and it then re-syncs for a whole... until the next glitch..
I think basically it's somewhat unstable at this time.. unsurprisingly given the newness of what it's now trying to do....
Look out for updates in the near future I suspect!

Jan 23, 2015 1:02 PM in response to The Art Of Soundby The Art Of Sound,Btw.. Im finding many less issues with LR and LPX using either Bluetooth.....
Logic Remote: Connecting via Bluetooth - Apple Support
or using my iConnect2plus to connect it via USB.....
